EquipProtect (equipment coverage) means the movable items owned by your business (such as equipment, computers, supplies, furniture, etc.). The property could be located in your home office, office building, gym, studio or other location you work from.
EquipProtect also includes property of others in your “care, custody, and control,” which basically means their property is in your possession.
This does NOT cover permanent structures wired for electricity, are installed on a permanent foundation, have HVAC, or have running water. This does NOT cover what the industry considers “real property”.
Common causes of loss include but are not limited to theft, fire, water damage, vandalism, and hail.
*$10,000 EquipProtect equipment coverage is included free, however if you need higher coverage you can upgrade to EquipProtect PLUS+ mid-term or during the application process!
