LIABILITY INSURANCE DESIGNED JUST FOR ACUPUNCTURISTS

Acupuncture services require direct contact with your client's body, which brings with it a host of liability risks. Beyond just physical touch, you are also using external instruments, needles, to activate a response in their body. Even if you perform your services perfectly, there is always the risk of adverse reactions like rashes and infections. Each service can provide a different atmosphere and clientele, but the safety of the treatments or class (if you're teaching acupuncture classes) and the protection of your business remains the same. Acupuncturist insurance is also called malpractice insurance for acupuncturists or errors & omissions insurance, so you may have heard those terms before as you searched for the right acupuncturist liability insurance policy for your business.

Medical Expenses

Coverage that reimburses others, without regard to the insured’s liability, for medical or funeral expenses incurred by such persons as a result of bodily injury or death sustained by accident under the conditions specified in the policy. Personal & Advertising Injury

The amount that your policy will pay for claims arising out of one or more of the following offenses:

  • False Arrest, detention or imprisonment

  • Oral or written publication or material that violates a person's right of privacy

Defense Costs

Defense Costs coverage is included in your general & professional liability insurance coverage limits. Defense Costs refers to all the costs of defending against a lawsuit. These expenses include the cost of hiring a lawyer, court fees, investigations, gathering facts, filing legal paperwork, and other related costs.
This is often the most important aspect of protecting you if you are being held liable for bodily injury or property damage resulting from your services.
