PET GROOMERS INSURANCE | A+ LIABILITY INSURANCE AVAILABLE ONLINE

People like their pets to be clean, fur trimmed, with nails cut to a safe level (or even painted for extra cuteness!). As a pet grooming professional, you want to do your best to keep your clients happy and looking good. Unfortunately, like almost any other profession, accidents can happen. Many pets don't like their nails trimmed, and some get antsy or are simply high energy. A dog or cat can easily slip through your arms and get excited around people, resulting in accidental injuries.

Pet Grooming Examples

What if??

Wondering what kind of claims could be covered by pet groomer insurance? We've got some examples to make it easy.

  • General Liability: Dog bites a person visiting the groomer while being groomed or a client bringing in a dog to be groomed trips on the stairs and is injured.
  • Professional Liability: A client advises you that their dog has allergies to certain ingredients in products. You accidently use a product that has that ingredient in it and the dog has an allergic reaction and the dog's owner sues you for vet bills.
  • Damage to Premises Rented: The tub gets clogged while washing a dog and overflows, damaging the floor in your rented space and the ceiling below.
Note: These are just examples. Your claims adjuster will have the final say in coverage and payouts.

This is often the most important aspect of protecting you if you are being held liable for bodily injury or property damage resulting from your services.
