Dog Walking Examples

What if??

Wondering what kind of claims could be covered by dog walker insurance? We've got some examples to make it easy.

  • General Liability: Dog runs into someone while on a walk and knocks them over, causing abrasions and a sprained wrist. Dog damages someone’s property while in your custody.
  • Professional Liability: You walk the dog on pavement that is too hot and it burns their pads so the dog’s owner could sue for negligence.
Note: These are just examples. Your claims adjuster will have the final say in coverage and payouts.

Defense Costs

Defense Costs coverage is included in your general & professional liability insurance coverage limits. Defense Costs refers to all the costs of defending against a lawsuit. This is often the most important aspect of protecting you if you are being held liable for bodily injury or property damage resulting from your services.
